It's been five years since we decided to start off a new band and name it The Grand Astoria. These years were exciting as heaven and hell both. We have played hundreds of shows all over Europe and Russia, released four LPs and few EPs. We met so many of you we can't count. And you guys are the best friends there are. Your love to our music is what keeps us touring and recording despite all the shit we have to go through being an indie band and all.
So in celebration of our 1825 days-long journey together we decided to release these two songs. On this record you won't find any wicked riffs, complicated drum solos or crazy pedal effects. These are the songs for friends, songs we would play for you by the fire. Be our guests and enjoy the quiet side of The Grand Astoria
Sincerely yours,
Kamille

Track Name: Who's In Charge?
Who's in Charge?

Who's coming next?
Be my guest
Celebration of life
Is reason why we are here
I'm not a priest nor a saint
Answer lies in between
And my songs can't hurt no ears
I'd like to be, I'd like to see
I'd like to go there alone
But this means pleasure's all mine
Don't need that much
Take a piece, take a slice
Close your eyes
And taste this fruit so divine

And I say
Who's in charge of this all?

Next time you're there
Well, I swear
You will never go back
It's now you temple and home
To rest your legs, clear your mind
We accept everyone
And share all that we own
I'd like to be, I'd like to see
I'd like to go there alone
But this means pleasure's all mine
Don't need that much
Take a piece, take a slice
Close your eyes
And change the tears into wine
Track Name: Future Belongs To Me
She said it's time
We have to go
Down on the long and winding road
Trial of tears and cry of love
More than enough
How can you dream of world to see
Living from salary to salary?
Down, down, down
Sky meets the ground

Time will pass and time will go
Leaves no footprints in the snow
Just traces in a fragile air
And a curl of silver hair
No one knows when time is right
Will it bring me joy and light
Or darkness and insanity?
My future still belongs to me

There is a place inside your head
Lost and abandoned
Makes me sad
Beautiful childhood memories
Covered with dust
(They say) Learn from mistakes and it can help
You better blame nobody but yourself
Down, down, down
Six feet under ground
