Who's coming next?
Be my guest
Celebration of life
Is reason why we are here
I'm not a priest nor a saint
Answer lies in between
And my songs can't hurt no ears
I'd like to be, I'd like to see
I'd like to go there alone
But this means pleasure's all mine
Don't need that much
Take a piece, take a slice
Close your eyes
And taste this fruit so divine
And I say
Who's in charge of this all?
Next time you're there
Well, I swear
You will never go back
It's now you temple and home
To rest your legs, clear your mind
We accept everyone
And share all that we own
I'd like to be, I'd like to see
I'd like to go there alone
But this means pleasure's all mine
Don't need that much
Take a piece, take a slice
Close your eyes
And change the tears into wine

An unbelievable mixture of stoner and heavy psych sounds and influences, also with plenty of long jam sessions to balance out with the amazing vocals. Ever since hearing this album I have been at a loss for words for describing what makes Elder such a great band to people who don't yet know them. The production on this record is also very, very crisp ellis_boyd_redding

Apart from the shitty fade out at the end of Release, this EP is absolutely out of this world. Spires Burn is a riff showcase in itself, but Release is where they truly shine. Absolutely stellar. tomvidm
Big, clanging psych-rock from this Arizona outfit fuses monk-like vocals with slow-winding guitars for songs that feel like strange hymns. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2016
